Mineral Insulated (MI) Skin Type thermocouple is manufactured by Cold drawing and annealing (heat treatment) process in controlled atmosphere. The heat treatment (which is controlled within +/- 20C) is carried out in hydrogen atmosphere to avoid surface defects & partial oxidation of conductor.
