Prisma Instruments Chemical / Diaphragm Seal Unit Pressure Gauge model is used for processes where isolition is essential when process fluid is corrosive, hazardous, having sediments or is viscous, has tendency to solidify, freeze or crystallise at lower température which may block the sensing element.

The Chemical / Diaphragm Seal Unit model transmits process pressure to the instrument through a diaphragm. The instrument side of the diaphragm is filled with appropriate fluid. As liquids are incompressible, pressure is hydraulically transmitted to the pressure sensing element. Proper selection of diaphragm seal is important after reviewing the application.
